I tried to record my Bushy Parkrun today with a little Vivitar action camera I recently won. The quality was ok, but the shaky mount I had didn’t seem to work. It was a chest mounted strap that held the camera in place, but for running, and especially when speeding it up as I did, the motion is far too jumpy. The camera case also steamed-up a bit towards the end. I’m not sure if this was external and it was just because it was tight on my chest, or whether the case isn’t as airtight as I though.
Need to investigate other alternatives, but I might look at hand-held or shoulder mounts next.
