Some old posts I found #7

22|02|08: J.D. Salinger – Catcher In The Rye. This has been on my list of ‘i should really read these at some point in life’ books, so i saw it in a charity shop last week and decided to give it a go. I don’t know the background on the book (i really don’t) but the story seemed to suit the slow-ish pace, and the narrative was quite nice, with the way that Holden Caulfield phrased everything. Maybe it wasn’t the groundbreaking read i was prepared for, but glad I gave the goddam thing a go.
