Vale Gallop 10k
Another frosty Sunday morning run.
I hadn’t heard of the Vale Gallop before, and the description of an “undulating” course hadn’t prepared me for the number of hills on the route and the terrain we had to navigate.
It was definitely a tough going 10k, with some nimble footwork needed over farmland, fields and rough dirt-track, plus a good few steep hills and inclines.
Given that, I really enjoyed this run. A good break from the flat road running I have been doing, it was an unusual course, had friendly marshalls and at around 200 or so runners, it was just the right size. Will definitely try it again next year.
Up early this frosty Sunday. Off to do the #ValeGallop 10k. #running
